Having just come from a regular non Premium Dormy Inn, there is a difference in room size, amenities, and breakfast spread for the extra you pay for Premium. Location-wise, there is a subway exit (Kushida Shrine station exit Number 7) and a bus stop located at the entrance. Very convenient. The breakfast spread has a big variety but there are limited seating. The women’s onsen has cold and hot pools indoors and one outdoors. If you feeling aches from travelling, I highly recommend the massages from Matchi-Miko (i think that’s her name). My husband and I both had the 40 min massages in our room and felt refreshed. The masseuse has strong fingers and knows the right pressure points. Suggestion for hotel: it would be nice if you could carve out a space for a massage room. This will the masseuse to work safely and with proper massage table/bed. I noticed the lady had to over bend when giving us massages.

Not sure there's much "premium" about this hotel. The rooms and furniture exhibit signs of aging, despite being quite comfy. The big plus of the place is the spa, otherwise it's just a hotel with fairly small rooms and few amenities. They try to compensate for that with free snacks, but it barely helps. The location is up to taste: except for Canal City, there's not much around, and to most significant places of Fukuoka you have to travel. Fortunately, there's subway right in front of the lobby. I'd assume it's a proper place to stay during work trip, but not like for leisure or tourism

great hot spring hotel with good food and service. Excellent location!

Much nicer than thess reviews suggest. The rooms are small but functional. The windows open as well so no musty smells. The spacious onsen here on the 2nd floor is set up like a hot spring with 3 pools, far nicer than the other Dormy Inn here. The only downside is limited communal space so not much space to hang out with your mixed gendered family after a soak. Even when on the cheaper no cleaning package, the staff will provide fresh towels daily.

Highly recommend! Good management and service, liked they had a cold plunge pool and typical hot springs, and excellent location. The free ramen, snacks and yakult are fun extra and make this a much better price to quality ratio than nearby mitsui gardens (avoid that hotel - read their recent 1-3 star reviews and see the common themes of bad service, small rooms and disorganized breakfast).
