Room with a view! You can sit in your own personal onsen and watch the glorious sunset. It feels like such a luxury! The rooms themselves are small and basic but clean and with everything you need. I was able to check in as soon as I arrived, which was a nice change from other places in Japan, where you have to wait. And the cats are adorable!!!!

The in-room onsen bathis really great, I can bath in quiet private room but with the same hot onsen quality as the public one has. Room service of dinner was very delicious and great value, I highly recommenced. Parking is free and easy to park. Staff are really friendly and helpful, even though I don't speak Japanese, they understand English and communicate well.

I didn’t stay here, but did use the onsen. It was wonderful!!!!! Visited Dogo onsen yesterday and was disappointed. Everyone, come to Hojo and go to Seapa onsen! Multiple baths, hot, cold, jetted, outside overlooking the ocean as I watched the beautiful sunset, sauna, this place is great! With the trip to this town just for this onsen visit! Loved it!

Absolutely superb! Enjoy the onsen bathing in sunset! Food is also incredible, best fried chicken and octopus during our trip in the island. Facility is old but remain cozy! Price is behind fair. Highly recommended.

This inn is a bit off the beaten path of Matsuyama, but it's absolutely worth the journey. Each room has its own private bath that overlooks the ocean, along with a public bath where you can sit in an outdoor tub and listen to the ocean waves cresting against the shore. The small restaurant is homey, and the food is fantastic at a very reasonable price. Everyone I spoke to in my less-than-perfect Japanese was an absolute sweetheart! The massage was extremely reasonably priced, and the masseuse a very kind hearted girl with strong hands. She told me how she rescued one of the stray cats that lives in the area and nurses him back to health. If you like cats (or animals in general), you're bound to make a new friend within a short walk of the hotel. There are some conbini within easy walking distance if you want a drink after the kitchen has closed down for the night. As I was eating lunch, a couple of sweet older guys from Ooshima struck up conversation and proceeded to buy me beer after beer. Shikoku is an underrated gem of Japan and I am absolutely smitten.
