Kura no Yu is a great facility to have relaxing time. There is a large indoor area with showers, one big hot bath and 3 small massage baths. The is a large sauna and deep, large cold water bath. As for relaxing space - there are few plastic chairs and large stoned waterfall sofa - quite cool and not to be seen vert often facility. Outside is really amazing! Large area with many different baths and wet, sauna where you rub salt into your body - very soothing ;) Entry price is less than 1000 yen ( depends on the weekday and time). This onsen is almost famous for a mixed (men and women together) hot stone sauna session. Check their website for more details. Also - one small issue is the smoking areas - those are located just next to the changing room. I have not experienced and bad smell so far but I saw few other reviews where people complain about that. Tattoos are not allowed at all.

nice hot spring, customers are sometimes without good manners (country boys), food is good. In-outside bath, nice !

My favorite place when I used to live in Higashimatsuyama. You can take bus but when I was living here, I walked from the station(30 -40 mins)so better of taking bus. But atmosphere was very nice and relaxing.
