Tabist Mayudama Cabin

Stayed here for one night in July 2024. Coming from Canada, this was such a bizarre and unique experience (in a good way). I felt extremely safe, both personally and for my things. The common spaces and private pods were very clean. The staff was so kind and helpful. There's a 7/11 about 2 mins away and it's about 20-30mins walk from the waterfront. Great value and great experience before a cruise! Would 1,000% stay here again.

I had a great stay here. It is in a very central and safe location- extremely clean and friendly staff. I was not sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised here. I loved my stay in Kannai so much I extended it to be longer at Mayudama Cabin. ❤️

Rating 5 stars because this is, by far, one of the cleanest capsule hotels Ive ever been to in Japan. Its about a 5 minute walk to Kannai Station and is close to so many commercial establishments, restaurants, and convenience stores. There is even a drug store right infront of the hotel so you dont have to worry about buying snacks or beverages. I would definitely book a stay here again if I ever get back to Yokohama.

As long as you won't forget your key in the room, you won't have any problem there :D reception is not working after 23:00 and the bedroom is locked by an electronic system, which means, if you came back late and unluckily forgot to pick up a key from your bed when going to a shower - you won't have any chance to enter the room again :D I experienced that and there was no staff to help me out. I was luckily saved by another guest, who went out for the toilet and just helped me open the door. Except for this experience, everything is absolutely neat there! Just newly opened, very clean, the most important amenities available. A pleasant time to stay there!

Total great value! Unbelievably superb! The photos are super accurate. I am a regular backpacker and have business trips all year round. Staying here was incredibly cheap, sparkingly clean, and well-organized. Most capsule hotels are dirty but this one is exceptional. Towels, toiletries, and room wear are free. The veranda open viewing deck at the 3rd floor is a bonus. Also, the cabin I stayed at is spacious and does not look like a capsule or tomb at all. Best in Yokohama, best in Japan!
