御宿 野乃仙台

Great hotel. There are over 100 rooms here but the hotel always felt calm and quiet. The room was compact but loved the Japanese style and it was fully equipped. The rooftop onsen was great and I loved the small exterior pool. Sitting in the hot water while snow was falling around me. The free ice creams were great to cool down with after a soak. Breakfast does get busy and they advise heading down as early as possible. It was delicious with many options available. Friendly staff were always on hand. A great place to stay in Sendai.

Actually the location is prime, near the shopping arcade, the centre of Sendai imo. The Onsen is good, the place is very good and calm, the room is not very big but more than decent in the city center. But be careful if you are driving, you might have to consider finding the nearest parking first in your map before you start driving towards it(ask the hotel staffs and they are more than happy to help you), once you started driving and you may find it hard to re-direct to nearest parking while driving.

The building although looked indifferent to the rest in the middle of the city, but it's where one could find a very much ryukan atmosphere. Tatami mats laid throughout the hotel elevates the whole place and truly allows one to relax much better after a day of sight seeing. Impeccable cleaniness and the warm atmosphere reminds you again why one adore visiting Japan so much. If there is to be a fault, it would be that the hotel isn't exactly located close to Sendai Station. Albeit it being next to an underground train station, that particular station takes a bit of navigating from the main Sendai JR station, which could be a bit of a bother when you fresh arrive at the city.

We loved our stay here!! It's a traditional style but with every modern amenity you could want! Very clean and beautiful design. The staff were all so incredibly helpful and kind and went over the top to accommodate us! Breakfast was delicious and we wished we could have stayed more days! Thank you!

Not much to complaint. I used to live in dormy inn hotels. Comparatively, what’s the biggest difference is that it serves with better outfit and decoration. No shoe allowed inside makes the floor clean and tidy. The breakfast also serves grilled beef tongue and tempura which is outstanding. But these factors to me cannot justify a super premium room rate, if it applies in your case.
