Open late till 12:00. Nice place to relax and enjoy the a hot soak. Only recommendation would be to bring your own mat to sit on for the sauna unless you don't mind sitting in a sweat soaked towel. As of this revised post, (12/28/2024) the onsen now has reusable mats to sit on for the sauna.
Not bad, but the resting area can be larger, it's older but it's nice.
Like lots of things, it used to be better in the old days. But, what's lovely about this bath is that is has a nostalgic olden days aesthetic, with vintage posters from Japanese pop culture of the 60s and 70s. The baths are good and the food is good. Always discounts available through line. It's my local and I love it, but of course it's more for regulars than as a special luxury treat. It lost one star for me because they used to do spicy potato fries, but they stopped. Happy to award 5 stars when they bring back them!
Nice old school onsen. Water supply is from 1300m well providing mineral rich water, rather than many of the onsens in the area that use tap water that they filter and then run it through a mineral block, or soak bags of herbs and minerals in the tubs. Napping areas inside and outside, as well as a decent onsite restaurant with nice private booth seating.
