Here is a little guide for English speakers ! It’s a pretty big establishment situated behind the hospital. There is enough place to come with a car, but a bicycle may be more advantageous as you don’t need to pay for the parking lot. Once inside you may lost sight of the time as you are really decontracted! I tried the set with public bath + sonas + 5 hot stones baths. As such I will only comment on those. Once inside you may take off your shoes and place them in the lockers on your right. You can walk in socks or barefoot as the place is really clean. You next have to take a ticket on the automatic vending machine situated on the left of the entrance, corresponding to what experience you want to have. My advice is that the public baths are enough for a really good experience. The sonas (two kind) cost a little more but are really worth it if you want to feel younger ahah. Finally, the hot baths were a completely new experience to me and I think a good place to go as a couple. First you will have to go to counter to give them your shoes locker’s key and your ticket. In return they will give you the items necessary to your experience and explanations if needed ( a charming lady did her best to explain in English so please everybody say thank you after interacting with her as she tries her best). The changing rooms are separated by gender; right of the counter for women and in the left and all the way to right after. A red ゆ character for the women and a blue ゆ character for men. Once inside you can change and start by washing yourself to be clean before entering the baths. You will need a towel and your own care product or you may buy some at the counter when you arrive. Inside you may use any bath but the sonas are accessible only if you bought the related ticket. (My favorite was the electric bath personally! Give it a try ! ). Rules are easy, don’t talk loudly, be respectful of the other’s personal space, you may use the chair and wash them with water before and after for hygiene reasons. Little bonus, the toilet is situated on the left of the changing room (at least for the men); there is a little push written next to the door’s knob. (Don’t open the door next to the exterior’s hot bath; it’s an office 😅). Finally, when going to the hot stone baths’s section situated in front of the counter; you will have to change in the brown (for 5 hot stone baths option) or in blue (for the 6 hot stone baths option) and take the large towel given to you at the counter when you entered. A good advice given by the lady at the counter was to take with you a bottle of water. Appreciated as you will sweat a LOT! The rules are easy, you put your bottle on the small shelf in the entrance of each floor, and you enter the small door with your towel. (The entrance looks like an hobbit’s one ahah). Once inside you lie down on your towel, on your back or stomach. Inside each room, you will have to stay silent to not disturb others. The second floor has a lecture/ room-temperature room. There you can use the books and manga to read (be careful to put them back we don’t want them to ban every foreigner because of some bad character). In each room you may feel like sleeping but be careful to not faint due to too much sweating! Please have a good experience !

Good experience fie the fact that it was an impromptu onsen to visit as our usual Tamayo onsen was being renovated. Wouldn't go back though as the patriants stare and gawk alot and its uncomfortable. Onsens are for relaxing not to be uncomfortable and stared at Its like its the first time the people are seeing foreigners. And it can't be as we all live in Okayama and Okayama is filled with us

I really enjoyed it for the first time visit. I am going back

I don’t know that they ain’t prepare body wash and shampoo inside the onsen. I think I need to read the instructions more
