The place was amazing. I was expecting just a shower and big bath but it has the whole spa treatment. Bed bath, saunas, and cold plunge. English speaking staff were great. Even has huge rest area and this is all on one floor.

I visited this onsen on January 1, 2026, and since it was a public holiday, it wasn’t crowded at all. The location is convenient and not far from the station. They offer several packages to choose from, such as all-day, 3-hour, and 1-hour passes. I personally chose the 3-hour package because it was already quite late. The onsen is very clean and spacious, with plenty of room to relax. There’s also a restaurant floor and a rock bath area. I really liked this place because it’s large, clean, and not crowded at all. I highly recommend visiting at night—it’s very peaceful and relaxing. The staff can speak English as well, which is a big plus. Next time, I’d love to try the all-day package, as it seems more worth it and there are areas where you can sit and work or relax for a longer time. This is one of the best onsen experiences I’ve had in Tokyo. I had a great experience and will definitely come back again and recommend it to friends. The price is a bit on the higher side, but still acceptable for the quality.

Five minutes on foot from Ryogoku Station. The building, which has won a design award, has a good old Japanese atmosphere with a bit of stylishness added, and the entrance is already pleasant. There are two indoor baths, a jet bath and a water bath. There are two open-air baths with hot water, and two types of saunas (hot and cold) 🔥. The Finnish style sauna "Lowryu" was more intense than I had imagined and gave me a big thump...! And what surprised me most of all was the abundance of workcation rooms 💻. Next time I'm thinking about staying in and working in the morning ◎ This was my first visit and the conclusion was very good! I love saunas, but even in the heart of the city, this Edoyu is a very relaxing place to spend time, and the price is right! The best relaxing space! ✨ I recently visited Edoyu for the first time and was very satisfied! The inside of the building is clean and very relaxing with a calm atmosphere. There are many kinds of hot springs, especially the carbonic acid spring and sauna! The outside air bath space after the sauna is also spacious and allows you to relax and get in shape. To be honest, it would have been better if there were infinity chairs! Also, the rest area was well equipped with reclining chairs to relax and unwind. The dining room menu was delicious, and I found myself lingering there for quite a while. The staff was courteous and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely use this restaurant again! Highly recommended!

The place is not recommended at all. It's crowded and noisy. Staff is not helpful and tries to ignore you as long as possible. Customers don't abide the instructions to be quiet. How can you relax here? You can better sit on a chair in a quiet restaurant for free. Hot stone beds are almost all the time full of people with a waiting queue and some are even our of order. What a joke. Some people come out for a drink and then go in as fast as possible, blocking the beds for the rest. So there is close to zero chance they will have a bed available. The two silent work spaces require reservations. On top of that: in every single space it's full of cameras. Massages are also quite expensive. Receptionists speak too loud and instructions are not clear. I thought I would relax here. Very disappointed paying almost 3000 yen here. NEVER AGAIN.

My first public bath experience in Japan and I’ve come back twice in a row. Heard from my local friends that this public bath is slightly on the expensive side but it’s absolutely fine with me. The receptionists speak basic English, and the customers there seem generally young. This place is separated into 5 floors, two of which are gender-exclusive. The baths were alright - two of them are open air. It was raining and snowing on one of the nights I went, so it felt absolutely magical to lie flat in an onsen and listening to the rain and snow dropping into the onsen 😍 The Japanese massage on 3/F was really great - absolutely eased my shoulders and legs pain from too much walking and carrying backpack during travel. ¥7,700 for a 70-min full body massage - seems like a bargain for me. The resting area was fabulous - chairs are really comfortable and are perfect after onsen / massage. I would definitely consider coming back, especially if I take a red eye flight to Tokyo and need a place to rest.
