太山寺温泉なでしこの湯

Charming place. Not very big onsen, but good atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is not a highlight - just average.

Hot water was very good. The spring quality that there wants to be yes all the time. I felt very better than Arima Onsen. It is Japanese treasure.

A hot spring for city people who want a bath not far from home. Not worth a long distance trip.

This is a countryside hot springs without the charm. Populated with mostly octagenarians and local residents. The baths are small, old and not well maintained. The restaurant is cafeteria style and tastes as good as you'd expect from a cafeteria. I would not recommend visiting this place unless you're really in need of a bath.

We just came here for lunch after visiting a temple close by (Taisanji). Lunch was simple, but reasonable and tasty. They had a lot of choice, most of them were standard Japanese things like soba, udon, tempura, don, etc. They also have onigiri with kobe beef for the beef lovers. It's not a place to go eat nice, but that's probably not what people come for anyway.
