It's an older property which shows its age especially in room we got. However, the 'dormy inn' experience, value and with proximity to JR kagoshima station makes-up for property short-comings. Notably the outdoor onsen and complimentary free post-onsen icy-pops and free bedtime ramen are nice perks. The lack of card-keyed elevators from street to rooms is surprising as anyone could access the room floors. There was also no safe in the room, however presence of staff walking the onsen located floor was reassuring. If you can accept the limitations, Its a great value especially for a single male on business.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The sink had visible brown stains and build-up around the drain, which clearly had not been properly cleaned for some time. In addition, the bathroom door and surrounding areas showed noticeable mould and dark marks, making the overall hygiene below expectations. The location and other aspects of the stay may be fine, but the bathroom condition really affected the comfort of my stay. I hope the hotel will improve its cleaning and maintenance standards for future guests.

Fanstastic hotel - exceeded expectations in every way. Rooms were modern, very stylish, and with great facilities (very comfortable bed, separate shower with door, separate sink). Public bath was great - lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice pools, stylish decor. Full of pleasant touches (being greeted at the elevator when checking in, the gift of bottled water and baked treat in the refrigerator, shaving foam provided for free in the private bath shower area, the hands-off way you access your room directly via the elevator and not needing to go through reception). Will definitely use again

A lovely hotel with thoughtful, helpful and dedicated staff. The rooms were marvellous and we enjoyed the complimentary treat. Magnificently clean and I slept so well on a bit comfortable bed.

Loyal supporter of the hotel, but the corridor on the fifth floor is full of cigarette smell, which is the first time I have encountered it. In theory, there should be a dedicated smoking room on each floor. It will be very crowded during the Golden Week, and you can only open the window for ventilation. After shopping, there is a ventilation fan at the elevator door to filter the air, which has improved. Why is there a smell of cigarettes? It is very dangerous, such as a fire hazard. Fortunately, it is 3 nights. The breakfast is very rich and not too crowded. It is 1800 per person. The elevator is marked with a 2000 yen adjustment on June 1. The service staff is kind, the room is clean, and the location is excellent.
