One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Excellent staff, location, and rooms. The luggage area is separate from the capsules, which helps avoid the constant opening and closing of suitcases, a very annoying thing that often happens in hostels. If I return to Hiroshima, I will definitely stay here again. Highly, highly recommended!

I stayed at Sejour Inn Capsule and had an excellent experience. This is a top-quality capsule hotel: everything is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. It’s a perfect choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and stylish place to stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed for one night in one of the private rooms. The private room is apart from the main room and separated by a fabric shutter. It contains two pods, two lockers, a desk, a kettle and a tea set. Pros: The shower was very clean. The amenities provided are great. No issue with noise within the ‘quiet’ area. Multiple shared spaces which are well maintained and well decorated. Very close to a tram stop and multiple stores USB port next to the bed Cons: There is no sort of code or key needed at any point to enter the building on any level, meaning that anyone could walk in from the street at any given point. This is a safety concern, especially given that neither the capsules nor the private rooms lock. As others have mentioned, the mattress is extremely hard, as is the pillow. It seems to be filled with recycled straws, however this makes it very uncomfortable.

Hostel Sejour Inn in Hiroshima offers a peaceful stay, benefiting from the quieter atmosphere of a less touristy city. The hostel is fully equipped with necessary personal hygiene items, and I was assigned a capsule in an individual room, providing a hotel-like experience with just an accordion door. There are traditional Japanese rooms for relaxation, along with a kettle and dining area. The hostel is conveniently located directly in front of a bus stop. However, the space is shared between the hotel and hostel, and sometimes the same staff member handles both. At times, I had to use the phone at the hostel reception to request assistance. Access via the elevator is somewhat confusing and leads to a storage area. The luggage storage area after checkout is not very secure but was effective. Despite these minor issues, I would repeat my stay.

Fantastic staff and value for money. Very comfortable pods with good clean facilities, as well as lounge areas for relaxing/ working. Three separate toilets and shower rooms on each floor. They give you a key with a locker under or near your bed. Highly recommend. Expect to hear people walking to and from their pods so it won't be fully quiet until probably 11pm. The tram stop is just outside the hotel.
