Really great place. I just wish they would lower the default nighttime temperature setting. I couldn't sleep the first night because it was so hot in the pod. I ended up just lowering the temperature myself on the second night.

I experienced very poor service and extremely rude behavior from the staff. If a staff dislikes foreigners so much, he/she should not be working in the hospitality industry. I was standing outside the hotel, waiting for my friends to finish the check-in process. A female front desk staff member came out—I think she was going to feed a cat—and noticed me standing in her path. I didn’t realize she wanted to pass me to feed the cat. Seeing the smoking sign nearby, I thought she was going out to smoke. So, I politely asked her in English whether I should move aside to make space for her.Suddenly, her expression darkened. She completely ignored my question and told me in a very rude tone not to stand there. I was shocked and asked if I wasn’t allowed to stand there while waiting for my friends. She then coldly replied, “Oh, don’t sit down,” in an extremely unfriendly manner.This was ridiculous and disgusting. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have recommended it to many friends. But I'm so disgusted now and not bringing my friends here again. 👎🏾

Extremely good value. Very clean. Modern. Complete onsen access included with room. 10/10 recommend.

The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable, despite there being maybe 30 people in each room it really didn't feel like it. The location is fantastic too. My one quite big criticism is that this hostel does not have private showers. They have a communal bathroom on the 6th floor, so you have to stand in the elevator with all your stuff, and bathe naked with a bunch of strangers. I know it's part of Japanese culture, but if you just want a shower without having to bathe with other random naked men, don't bother; I didn't wash for the 3 days I stayed here. This is the first hotel/hostel in 10 years traveling the world that doesn't have showers, just weird. So just something to be aware of before you book this, and for this reason only I wouldn't stay again.

This was a great choice! I’m happy I got the women’s only floor. The room was really nice, especially for the price. There was a small closet that doubles as a safe, and a fridge and two mirrors (one on the wall and one on the desk.) Towels were provided every day, and one day they gave me double towels. Might have been a mistake though. I will say, the pillow was pretty lumpy. The linens were clean though. The TV was the best part! It was big and had YouTube and came with headphones connected. The shower room was the only thing I thought was rough. (I’m talking about the women’s only shower room, not the public bath floor. I didn’t see what that one was like.) It had three stalls in the room, so you might have to undress in front of others. I took three showers over my stay and never ran into another person in there, but be prepared. They seemed a little dingy, but no mold that I saw. It’s a tight fit. There are doors on each shower, so there’s some privacy. The water gets very hot and the pressure is good, so it was fine overall. The toilet rooms and main sink area were very clean and nice. No complaints! Staff was very friendly and spoke some English!
