Incredible amenities, easily the best hotel we’ve stayed at in our 2 weeks in Japan. Fresh towels every morning, free snacks and drinks after showers, a manga bookshelf, not to mention complimentary water! I will absolutely book this chain whenever I come back to Japan

Hotel is just 1 mins walk from Soga train station. Some restaurants, cafes, convience stores and shoes just down the hotel. Front dest staff can understand simple English. Free coffee for guest. Free ice cream, yogurt and light sauce soba at certain timing. Onsen is small and just enough for 3-4 person at a time but it's clean. Some private coin parking are around the hotel.

Hotel is very close to Soga train station. Room is clean and comfortable with all basic facilities. Service from front desk was excellent. The hotel staffs has shown best care of customers. They even helped to find and pick-up my forgotten notebook at Tokyo train station which is one hour away. This made me impressed of my first Japan trip.

Although the room were small, they serve an oishi bowl of hot noodles, on the house until 11:00 PM. These noodles are great for settling your stomach after a long night of drinking beer, sake and Shoju. In addition, the Onsen is great except there is no bar to sing Karaoke after bathing in the Onsen.

Located right outside the JR rail station, you can't pick a better place when staying in Soga. At first glance, the hotel rooms may appear Spartan. But what they lack in size and decor, they more than make up for in comfort and practicality. The rooms have TV, free wifi, a hot plate/stovetop, a tea maker, a bathroom with shower, and a shocking amount of closet and cabinet space. There are laundry facilities and an onsen on the premises. The provided breakfasts were a lush bounty of Japanese and pseudo-western, and every night from about 8:30-11, each lodger is invited to have a free bowl of their fine house ramen. The staff were beyond helpful, even across an English-Japanese language barrier. When my wife and I needed a place to store our bags after check out time, they tagged and stored our bags for the afternoon. For the traveler looking to stay in the lap of luxury, you might feel underwhelmed. But for someone looking for a practical, comfortable hotel staffed by kind and competent staff, you will absolutely appreciate this gem.
