ホテル ヒソカ 池袋

I had initially wanted to gatekeep this place but that would be a disservice to the hotel and its staff. Location-wise, it’s excellent being close to an airport limousine drop-off, train station, malls and plenty of eateries. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Everyone has their own space and were kept happy. Out of all the hotels my family stayed in through our 2-week holiday in Japan, this was the best (even surpassing the Disneyland Hotel 🤭) - clean, convenient, comfortable, spacious. The sound system and toaster in the room were wonderful (and very thoughtful) additions - we would listen to music as we unwind in the evening and warm up pastries for breakfast in the morning. The only downside was the lack of a washer/dryer in the room. Not a deal breaker as hand-washed clothes dried really really quickly overnight but I still hope the hotel seriously considers adding a washer/dryer for the bigger rooms. I would return to Tokyo just to stay in this hotel again - an exaggeration maybe but true. Highly highly recommend anyone looking for accommodations in Tokyo. 👏🏼

Had a wonderful stay at Hisoca Hotel. The room was cosy and spacious, complete with a bathtub and mist sauna. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Ikebukuro Station, with plenty of konbini and a wide variety of food choices nearby. The staff were very helpful too—special thanks to Angie for her great service. I would also like to give a big thank you to Yami (I hope I got her name right!) for helping to find my daughter’s Chiikawa plushie, which went missing after it was accidentally wrapped in the bedsheet and taken away. Truly appreciate the care and effort! Will definitely come back again the next time I visit Tokyo.

Interesting concept of a small apartment-like rooms with microwave oven, bigger sized rooms, separate WC, shower and even a sauna! Each room has a filtered water dispenser so no worries on drinking water needs. There is a lounge on the second floor where morning/evening tea, coffee (sooo good), doughnuts (only at night) are available. Family Mart and 7-11 nearby + subway station (5mins). Nice eateries around. There is no laundry area or gym though.

The location is peak and this is such a luxurious room for the price! Right outside the west gate, so we were able to get back to the hotel quickly everyday. There are great food stores and convenient stores nearby too and the Ikebukuro West Gate Park is right next door. Includes a personal sauna every room, comfortable bedding, a bathtub/jacuzzi, oven, tv and much more. The breakfast is delicious as well I would recommend trying it once.

The best hôtel during our 3 weeks trip. The suite was big with hammam, sauna, jacuzzi. A very good combo to rest after a long day of walking. We really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary mini bar for free .. always a good point. The hotel is near the Ikebukuro station so easy to catch train to visit Tokyo easily. Good quality amenities available also. The only bothering point is the lack of laundry. The nearest place is not close and it was not nice to saty there for 1h. Expect for that everything went fine. Thank you for everything.
