I have payed 2000 yem for a tattoo cover and I was still not let inside the hotel and sauna. This country lives in the past and is full of discrimination unfortunately 😪

Bad service... And feet hygiene rules should be better. Loads of men walking around barefoot in the entire building. Some have rashes or fungus - big infection risk.

Business and Hot Springs Balancing work and hot springs might be something unique to Japan (though it might also be seen as a sign of being a workaholic). You can fully focus on your work, and when you hit a wall, refresh yourself in the hot spring — sometimes even coming up with new ideas while soaking in the bath. While rare, there are a few facilities in Japan where this kind of lifestyle is possible — and this is one of them. That said, the hot spring here is not natural. However, having access to an open-air bath and sauna just a five-minute walk from Hakata Station is fantastic. The hotel rooms are capsule-style and minimal, but that’s all you really need. Plus, there are plenty of dining options around Hakata Station, including the hotel’s own restaurant. If you’re looking for a place to concentrate on work, this hotel is an excellent choice.

I stayed for few hours because of a delays. Despite not being able to speak English very well, their staff were very helpful and accommodating. They helped me finish my reservation quickly. The room was clean. The bath was relaxing. The restaurant served good food. I would love to stay longer next time.

this capsule hotel is for men only. Online reservation is highly recommend. Oriented mainly to those traveling light. Big luggage is possible but you might pay more. Japanese courtesy manners are very important inside. Avoid embarrassing yourself if you don't know. Reading the Lonely Planet is not enough. And no tattoos of any kind.
