Terme VILLA ちゅらーゆ

This review is more for the female side onsen. I didn't have a swim suit to go to the pools. I did notice there were a lot of families in it at the time we arrived. Pro: it had onsen water instead of the bicarbonate that a lot of bath houses around the island uses Con: the gender separated one is pretty small. Smaller than I expected. It might be ok for many but with the influx of how many people come, and the way it looked on the outside I guess I just expected a larger place? There's 2 baths. One has onsen water and it smells like rotten eggs/sulfur. That's what you are supposed to look for, but if you aren't ok with that smell you might have an issue. The second bath however has no smell and was fine but I don't think that's onsen water? We didn't make use of the outdoor pools where you use swimsuits. I knew that they had that but I didn't realize how much more of the facility there is with that portion. Also note that what I think might be the larger pool section is closed during the winter (January to March?). The price doesn't change to reflect that. This place is very popular, at least it was on the day I went. There were not enough seats available in front of the mirror as they only had 5 or6? There are question marks because normally I refer to my photos but I couldn't take any in here. They do not have cups for water or a cooler. They do have a water fountain instead and you can purchase drinks at vending machines outside. No cold plunge pool, but they have a flowing barrel of cool water. Parking was difficult when we went. We did manage to snag a spot but we did walk a bit to get there.

It’s a nice onsen and outdoor pool, with reasonable prices. From the outdoor pool you can see the fireworks on weekends which was aesthetic ayeee The onsen is pretty average, they do have a sauna though which is nice. The pool however is questionably slimy??? Probably from all the sunscreen tourists slab on but it was pretty gross. I don’t recommend you put your face in the outdoor pool lol I didn’t try the food or any other activities. Service was okay, but there’s a lot of people coming in and out so they can’t possibly tend to eveyone. Overall I give it a 6/10

There is an outdoor Healing pool with heated onsen water, mixed gender, 0.8m depth, it's like a mini swimming pool/ onsen, people are expected to wear swimming wear. Since I am uncomfortable with nakedness, this is the kind of onsen I would go to. There is also an indoor gender-separated onsen that I didn't go. We went in early March, some outdoor pools are still closed. We went on Friday early evening, the crowd is manageable.
