My stay was partly for business and partly for leisure, and I truly enjoyed it. The onsen was amazing, and the service and staff were excellent. I also loved the breakfast buffet and the view from the restaurant. I would happily return, it made me experience Kobe in a completely different and very positive way.

A nice little hotel for someone just arriving to or departing from Kobe. The public bath was the perfect way to relax. There is a family mart next to the hotel for any small needs, the view from the harbour view rooms was nice. This is a semi industrial area so there are trucks outside and a driving school behind the hotel but if you have a room on the upper levels it is not noticable at all.

Beautiful accommodation to wind down and enjoy the harbour views. Room was quite standard; fits the beds, a sofa, desk, and wet bathroom. The restaurant was really nice - i loved the dinner menu and the breakfast buffet had nice variety and everything was seasoned well and it had a great view as well. The hotel decor is a really pretty vintage-esque style which i loved. My only downsides is that it’s a little out of the way to get to so it’s a bit isolating, it may be a bit inconvenient to check-in and go back into town. And it’s also right next to a driving school/port and the hotel isn’t very high so you will see a lot of cars, trucks, warehouses and trains in the way of your view. I didn’t get to use the facilities but there is a spa and sauna in the building as well. They provide massage services for a fee as well. Overall, i enjoyed my one-night stay; the staff were all very lovely and the Japanese staff spoke moderate english. I went with my mum but I’d say this is more of a couples retreat maybe? We saw a lot of couples at dinner 😅

I had a great stay at Centurion Hotel & Spa Vintage Kobe. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good. The rooftop offers a wonderful view of Kobe, and the onsen facilities included in the stay were absolutely fantastic – in Europe, we would probably call it a sauna or wellness. Overall, I have nothing to complain about and would happily stay here again.

Worst hotel experience in Japan. Location is far away from city center. Need to take train and it is a 10 minute long walk away from the train station. If you have luggage you need to pass 5 crossings to get to the hotel. The hotel is next to a driver training school and you got the idea. It is next to a highway which is very noisy at night. Many trucks passed everyday liken nonstop. I was waken up 5 times the second night by the trucks running by. Hotel staff is very good at making customer uncomfortable. We checked out and went out for lunch. The car we booked was late so we went to the second floor to rest and wait for our car. The part of the second floor outside of onset was empty but hotel staff came and insisted we should leave. I have never seen any hotel trying to make its guests uncomfortable. The staff named Karki was very rude and yelled at me like I am a thief or something. I did not pay 300+ dollar per night for this. Our package includes dinner at the hotel Italian restaurant. The view was not bad but the food was weird. We tried the first night and gave up the second night. All in all, not recommended. Its service is not up to 4 star standard. Won’t go again for sure.
