Location: Great touristy location just outside the Tanuki Covered shopping street. A covered path towards susukino area. From there go underground to Poletown which leads to Odori Park or up to the Sapporo Station. At least twice, taxi drivers brought us to the big Granbell Hotel on the other side if town. Make sure you show the correct address. Rooms and service were very good

This is our favourite hotel to stay at. The staff are always so kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The onsen is clean, modern, and very relaxing. The laundry facilities are convenient and easy to use, which we really appreciated. The location is also excellent, close to everything we needed. Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

Overall good experience here and will visit again. I spent 7 nights here travelling solo. The staff is very friendly, although with very limited English skills. Check in was quick. They have lots of information and suggestions in the lobby. Also there is usually a hot and cold drink of the day for free in the lobby. My Deluxe Double room was cozy and well equipped. The bed is comfortable but firm. They provide two different pillows. There is a kettle and fridge in the room, my room also had a small table and two chairs. The bathroom is small as usually in Japan, but with a separate shower room and a niche for the washlet enough to be comfortable. The cleanliness could be improved, I found that the bed and sheets were dusty and there were quite a few hair in the room that do not belong to me. The AC works as a heater in winter, and the room was always warm and cozy. Maybe too warm for some, I had to keep the window open at night. The breakfast was solid, although not enough fresh fruit and veggies for my taste and it was the same every day. But still much better than what ylu get in other places. They have japanese dishes and western breakfast options. There is a public hot springs on the top floor, one each for men and women, with changing room, shower area and one inside and one open air pool. Use is included in the room charge. The location is convenient with only 5-10min walk to main Shopping area and several bus and subway stops. They also have a coin laundry which I ended up using. I enjoyed my stay and can recommend this hotel.

Ok located near the shopping street section 7 to 1. Not bad for shopping local stuff. But too touristy and crowded. The hotel not near station. Some taxi can’t find. The rooms not bad. Decent size the some Japanese hotel The Breakfast is bad. Same things over over again in 4 days and Luke warm and cold. Not tasty and appetizing. They don’t always refuse on time and the cut off time is at 9 o’clock very short. But check out 11 o’clock doesn’t make sense. You can’t have a late breakfast want to check out the stupid. Plus, they are very strict even if you’re five minutes late they will not let you come in for breakfast. Saw they stopping a couple for this. So we will not come back again. Oh another thing. Your onsen is not hot enough it’s too dark too for children.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in early October 2025. I chose it mainly for its convenient location near Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The hotel is also close to the bus stop for CTS Airport, about a 500-meter walk, which was very practical. My room was on the 11th floor with a nice view of the city. The hotel offers onsen facilities and a great breakfast selection. The indoor and outdoor baths were especially relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. Room cleaning is only provided for stays longer than three nights, so in my case, it was cleaned after the second night. Guests can request fresh towels or have the trash emptied by asking at the reception. While the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming, it might just reflect the local communication style in northern Japan. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay here and would recommend it for its excellent location and relaxing onsen.
