Finding the parking area was not very convenient, as it requires driving around a bit to locate it. Once inside, the admission fee is quite high — nearly 3,000 yen per visit. At this price point, I expected a high-quality onsen experience. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet that expectation. Compared to onsen facilities in Hokkaido, northern Kyoto, or Wakayama, this place falls far behind in terms of atmosphere and quality. The front desk staff did not appear very professional; it felt like they were student part-timers, and the service lacked polish. The food at the bathhouse is acceptable, but the overall experience does not justify the high price. If you truly have no other options, this could be a place to go. However, I would not recommend this onsen to first-time visitors to Kyoto. There are several much better onsen facilities just a bit north of here, many of which cost only half — or even one-third — of the price and offer a far superior experience.

great onsen, great service, literally worst “included” meal of my life. worst meal of my life, to be clear, just happened to be “included.” great service during dinner, problem was the food was probably poison. disgusting, even non fish items tasted like bad fish. good tempura, everything else was like eating uncooked feet.

Vert nice atmosphere, kind staff, good food and good deal price

I went there only for the Sento, and I was happy with it! There are multiple pools inside with varying temperatures, and also water jets for massage in the pools. The outdoor bath was cozy, with relaxing classical music playing from the speakers.
