金城温泉元湯

設備の古さはありますが、隅々まで清掃が行き届いており、とても清潔感があります。銭湯価格で源泉かけ流しの天然温泉に入れる、湯の贅沢さが段違いです。 ​休憩スペースは新しくなっていて綺麗なので、お風呂上がりにゆっくりくつろげます。 ​受付の方の対応も非常にフレンドリーで、親しみやすさを感じました。広い駐車場があるので車でのアクセスも便利です。 ​朝６時オープンなので、出勤前や旅行のスタートにも利用できるのが魅力的。オリジナルグッズが多いのも嬉しいです。

Excellent onsen with very kind and gracious staff, in spite of our initial confusion as foreigners. The facilities were also lovely.

Very good facilities.

Tattoo friendly. As a foreigner covered in tattoos, I was able to enjoy this hot spring. There was no clear sign of any tattoo rules although I was able to bath in peace and didn’t get kicked out. There are lots of pools, hot and cold for 490 yen an adult and 150 yen for sachets of soap, shampoo and conditioner. I was very satisfied. I will be using again for the remainder of my trip in Kanazawa and recommend this hot spring to fellow foreigners and locals.

Local bath with a old-fashioned feeling. There is a pool fed directly from the source (authentic onsen, brown colour), plus some others where the water is heated up some more (the hot spring itself isn't very hot), as well as an outdoor bath and a sauna. No English guidance due to the very local nature of the establishment. The bath area is quiet and peaceful.
