Had a chance to witness a great Japanese tattoo! Was exiting.

Friendly front lady, the mannerism in the onsen however is a mix. There was this non-Japanese woman who spoke so loudly in the sauna and she had a facial mask whilst stretching her whole body across the bath. Afterwards she made a phone call with the speaker on in the changing room… It all sounded funny now as I’m typing this but I was annoyed by her presence. It was in the day time but I’m surprised how busy it was. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back…

It’s dingy and dirty, but the baths are not bad. One is an actual hot spring, but the bath tiles are slimy. It’s in a run-down building on a backstreet so ask the locals if you can’t find it on google maps. The staff was kind.

This bath house is laid back. No rules about tattoos. It has everything you need for a nice relaxing soak. It's a little older but well cared for. There's a big spa with jets and bubbles. There's a cold spa and then one with brown water. I don't know what's in that water but that was also the hottest of the three. Entry was 470 yen and shampoo or body soap is available for 40 yen. They give you a key for a locker when you pay entry.
