5件Hi guys, be careful, I booked the reservation on January 9th for my week long vacation accommodation in March. I booked six-night stay through Bookings, but when I checked it yesterday, I found my reservation was cancelled by the property without any reason. I haven't received any notification of it, and tried to message them through Bookings, it shows "message not sent", even unable to contact the hotel to get an answer for the cancellation. Whoever book the reservation with them, just be careful with it: they may can your reservation for no reason without informing you! It sucks if you find it in the last minute!
Stayed in standard two twin bed room, both are electric beds allowing you to move them to the position that you want. There's also a projector screen instead of a TV which is pretty cool. The beds are a little bit on the stiffer side, but I never had a problem sleeping since I could adjust the bed to the position I wanted it to be at. The beds also have a pretty cool feature as instead of the room having a standard alarm that beeps and such, the alarm system is a feature where the bed starts to move to an upward position slowly to wake you up by raising the bed an inch or two every few seconds (worked great since I wake up to movement rather than sound). I liked the lighting in the room as there is a nice ambient lighting that goes across the back of the wall behind the beds, there are also lamps on the sides of both beds. The bathroom is perfect as it provides a shower (no bath unless you upgrade to the better twin bed room), a nice toilet with a bidet made by Panasonic, and a small, but nice sink area. They provide pajamas and slippers in the bathroom, but both did not fit me since I'm on the larger side and have broad shoulders and larger feet. Two cups, two toothbrushes, and two combs are also provided in the bathroom along with the standard shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner in the shower. Rooms have daily cleaning, they do the beds and make them look nice, restock toilet paper, bring new towels etc. Only thing is that they don't replace the sheets daily, rather every three days which I think is perfectly fine. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is near two subway stations, Kawasaki Station and Keikyu-Kawasaki Station, a lot of shopping areas including an outdoor shopping street (shōtengai) which is literally a 50 second walk from the hotel (probably less), one small mall in Kawasaki station and one big mall connected to the station called Lazona. I really liked the fact that the area is mostly all locals compared to the more populated areas of tokyo as I knew there was going to be delicious food in the area at great prices from the get go. There are a lot of girl bars (and normal bars in general) and other things of such in the area, but you SHOULD be fine as long as you ignore the people on the streets as they won't bug you if you're not interested in the services they are trying to sell you (unless you're into that stuff). Only complaints I would have to say are about the lack of a bigger table in the room as it makes it difficult to eat in the room as you can only have one person eat on the small table by the couch and the other is forced to eat on their bed. Also there is no water provided in the room and you either have to buy your own water from the store (tons of convinience stores and grocery stores nearby to buy water from) or go to the top floor (10th floor in which they provide many hot drinks like matcha, hot chocolate, and coffee) or the lobby to get water. And finally, check in is at 3:00 PM and you can only check in two hours earlier at 1:00 PM for 2000 yen. Besides those three things, I'd say everything else is perfect and I would stay here again if I have the chance.
Location : we didnt know the hotel is near to sketchy adult establishments and everyday we had to walk through the road filled with adult entertainment shops. Staffs : They are okay but not as friendly as other hotels ive stayed. One of them talked to me too casually and i was feeling uncomfortable Lobby : too small and space is fully utilized from selling merch. There is no space for you to wait on your friends/family Room : definitely different than usual hotels ive stayed, thats all i have to comment on.
Liked - Inclined bed. Modern design. Bathroom larger than other Japanese hotel. Window can be opened for fresh autumn air. Cool aircon. Strong hot shower pressure. Projector has YouTube and Netflix. Affordable pricing. Nice smelling toiletries. Kawasaki station has lots of food and shopping options. Disliked - location quite a walking distance from train station. Area has a lot of bars and clubs at night (tip: to walk on the major roads to get to hotel). Pillows too thin.
Great value hotel Overall is good - room, staff, breakfast, facilities. Only downside for me is location which walkable from station but surrounding by bar and nightlife, not good for female travelers. - Room came with big projector and spacious for 20m size. - Amenities and facilities is nice, free drinking water and microwave at lounge area. - Breakfast is yummy! Salad is fresh and delicious french toast and sandwiches. - Staff is helpful but service is so so.
