For admission simply draw ticket from the machine, in case of communication issues, the lady at the reception will help you. Overall a really nice neighborhood sento, I really enjoyed the (very cold) plunge pool, the herbal bath, and sauna. Locals inside the baths are also quite friendly towards foreigners. Would definitely recommend going here after each long day of exploring.

🇯🇵 Guide for sento first-timers 🛁 I’m writing this for anyone who’s unsure how to behave in a sento or worried about doing something wrong — I was in the same situation, so here’s what to expect! 📍 What to expect This sento is cozy and traditional. It has an entrance area, a changing room, a washing area, and a bathing area. There are four small pools: ❄️ cold water, 🙂 warm water, 💦 hot water with jets, and 🌿 herbal water. Each pool fits about 3–4 people. Upstairs there’s a small sauna for about 8–10 people. Men and women are separated (baths and sauna). 🧼 How it works: 1. Head upstairs to the entrance, where a friendly lady sits at the desk. 2. Put your shoes in the lockers on the left and keep the wooden key. 3. Buy a ticket from one of the vending machines (Japanese only — a translation app helps!). 4. Hand your ticket to the lady; she’ll give you towels and soap (depending on the ticket) and guide you to the changing room. 5. Undress completely and leave your clothes and big towel in your locker. Take only the *small* towel with you. 6. In the washing area, wash yourself thoroughly — sit on a little chair, use the bowl, and rinse every inch of your body. 7. Then relax and enjoy the baths or sauna. Important: Don’t let your towel touch the water! Keep it in your hand, on the rim, or on your head. 8. After bathing, rinse off (especially if you have sensitive skin) and head back to the changing room. Free hair dryers are available. 💡 Tip: To save money, bring your own towel and soap from your hotel and buy the bathing-only ticket (500 yen). Went to this sento because it's the only one near my hotel. Unlike the previous comments, you can actually pay extra (¥130) for a rent towel, and a single use soap bar + shampoo set. But all the signs are in Japanese so it might be less tourist friendly. I personally have no problem in understanding Japanese so I enjoyed the experience no problem. However it is actually quite old, so 4/5⭐.

After a long day of traveling from Tokyo, this was the perfect way to end the evening. We went around 10:30 PM. It wasn’t too busy. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and communicated with us by pointing and gesturing as we didn’t speak any Japanese. The waters were very refreshing and clean. HOGHLY RECOMMEND! We’ll probably go every night because it was that great. Tattoo friendly and 630 Yen.

The entrance is a staircase leading up to the second floor. It’s above a garage. A very local place and experience. Most of the people there are locals, as far as I can make out. The regulars have their own lockers. There are four soaking pools: cold, warm, hot, and herbal. Tattoos seem to be okay here; I didn’t ask, but just went in. The front desk staff don’t speak much English, but you can communicate enough with words and gestures to get by.
