Was my first time in an onsen and I loved it. Friendly staff and people and even though it is a very local sento I was made feel welcomed.

I’m a dumb foreigner who has never been to a bath house. My broken Japanese got as far as asking if tattoos are ok, and the person working said yes. After that, I had no clue what was going on. I brought a towel as recommended on google reviews, but after that I couldn’t really figure out what to do. I washed myself before hand, rotated out between tubs, and was unsure about the sanitation practices in between using stools to wash up or seating pads in the sauna. Bath house was packed so I was really learning by observing. When I returned to the locker room to grab my towel, I was being yelled at by two Japanese women and they were pointing back to the bathhouse. I couldn’t understand why, but I felt like I did something wrong. All in all, I would appreciate an explanation, but aside from that, the bath house was great and affordable. I understand I’m not from here, so take my review with a grain of salt.

Was recommended this place by a local, saying it was the best in town. And he sure was right. Has everything you could ask for in a sentou. Baths at all temperatures, electric bath, outdoor bath, free body soap, it even has a free sauna (usually have to pay extra for it). I really enjoyed the water fall fountain cold bath. Affordable at 550 yen . From the traditional tattooed covered men I saw, this place must allow tattoos. I would definitely come back!

I had a wonderful experience at this sento! The staff were very welcoming and spoke just enough English for basic communication. Entry is just 550 yen per person, and men and women have separate bathing areas. They’re also tattoo-friendly, which is a huge plus, and they rent out towels if you don’t have one. The changing rooms are convenient with lockers that come with keys. The bath variety was excellent: a bubbling tub, an herbal bath, an electric shock tub, an outdoor bath with a small garden, a sauna, and even an ice-cold tub for cooling down. There were plenty of shower stations, all stocked with body wash and shampoo. In the changing rooms, they also provide free hair dryers. Overall, it was a relaxing and authentic experience. I’d highly recommend trying this sento if you’re in the area!

I’ve been to several sentou in Japan and this is one of my favorites. I saw a review claiming that the staff are xenophobic, but I have been here several times and never experienced anything like that. I’m hoping it was a misunderstanding because I would hate to have to stop coming here. The establishment is quite spacious. There are plenty of baths and the sauna is quite nice with many seats and a TV. The cold bath can fit a few people at a time as well. My favorite feature is the outdoor bath with seats and a small garden. It is extremely nice to be able to exit the cold bath and then relax on one of the seats outside. This is a great place to experience a Japanese sentou, but please research the etiquette before going to one if you aren’t aware.
