I visit this bath house once every couple of years while visiting people I know who live in Shizuoka. I always enjoy the experience. There are a lot of baths and a couple of different saunas to enjoy. I have come to enjoy sitting in the cold water bath (16 degrees C) until my heart rate slows down a little bit and I don’t really feel uncomfortable in it, then getting out and resting for a few minutes before getting back in a hot bath. I’ve found this to be really helpful in relaxing tense muscles. I got a massage here once too. He was a male masseuse, who did a great job while we had a friendly conversation in Japanese. It’s a pretty good deal for the price.

I booked a single room for my business trip, staying here for about two weeks. At first, I was a bit shocked because they don't have a bathroom, only a bidet and washbasin. They have an onsen on the second floor, so you can use it for a bath, but I'm on my period and can't, so they made an exception for me to use the room with a bathroom inside until my period was over, which was so nice! I appreciated it! You can see the ocean view, in the clearly day, you can even see Mount Fuji from this hotel, this is beyond my expectations. ✨ The room is a bit small, but it's fine for a solo trip. The services are also really good, but one small issue is that they don't speak English at all, which was a bit of a problem when trying to communicate with them using translation apps, haha. I had a great trip here!

The view is awesome, the restaurant / arcade room / other services are great. I had just one problem. I have a small tattoo ( the size just like a birthmark ) and when I said to the receptionist lady, she said I can't go in the onsen. I said, I can hide it, but she said, that doesn't matter. I said oke, in this case I skip the onsen. After than I went upstairs to check my room, I noticed I don't have a shower. I talked with thr lady, and she said, if I want, I can upgrade my room, where is have a shower ( for extra extra extra 💴) . I understand they have rules, but if they don't make it flexible (for tourists and next generation Japanese, who likes the tattoos), they will lost customers. I don't want too much, just a shower, please!!!

booked online and was advised we needed to pay an additional 40,000 yen in order to stay. Although we had already paid for our room prior. We ended up cancelling and going elsewhere - do not recommend.

As a cheapo traveler, this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. It's a bit far from the station and is meant to be a roadside stop for car travelers, but don't let that deter you from trying it out. I initially went here because it was one of the last places available for under 20,000 yen near where I wanted to go for a Golden Week vacation, but it ended up being one of my favorite part of the trip. Onsen 5/5 There were so many different baths with varying temperatures and water types. My favorite was the outdoor onsen that grants you a view of the ocean and a bit of Mt. Fuji on the women's side. There's also a mixed-gender bathing space where you have to wear a bathing suit that seems to be mostly for children and families as I could see a water slide in there (jealous). All amenities from wash cloths, shampoo, soap, and even skincare are provided, so you can come empty-handed! Room 3/5 My room was smaller than usual, but because of that they allowed me to check out later, at 12PM. It felt like a very typical and slightly dated business hotel room. Many people recommend booking a room on the "ocean side" instead of the "mountain side" to reduce the sound of car traffic from the highway. Facilities/Services 4/5 Other than onsen, there's an arcade, a nice souvenir shop, several restaurants and relaxation services like massages, salt scrubs, etc. I personally found the food to be quite good for a budget hotel, and the view from the top floor restaurant is beautiful. I will say, like the rooms, the interior is quite dated, but clean. What's convenient is they give you a little wrist strap that you can scan and pay at any of the places so you don't need to carry your wallet (you're charged when you check out). Area 4/5 It's in a non-touristy area of a small town, so don't expect much (even the nearest conbini is quite a walk away and requires crossing the highway). However, I found it enough to hang out at the hotel. There's also a beach nearby where you can see Mt. Fuji. It's a bit deserted and mostly full of fishers in the morning, but I recommend watching the sunset from there. You can walk there from the parking lot in the back. Also, there is a short hiking path called the "Satta pass" nearby where there's yet another beautiful and unique view of Fuji! Though there are similar hotels like this all throughout Japan, I would come back to this area just for this hotel, lol. It seems to be well-known to the locals and other Japanese people, but not many foreigners were there (even though many of the signs and stuff in the hotel were also written in English). I thoroughly got to relax while here ^_^
