At 2110 yen for an entrance fee, it’s on the pricier side for a bathhouse. - The bathroom, locker rooms and baths overall are VERY clean. - The overall vibe is a bit serious and quiet. Mostly retired Japanese men who give off the vibe that they want to sit in silence. - Interestingly, you pay AFTER you’re done taking a bath. No ticket vending machine here, but they have a menu in English. - The dry sauna was incredibly hot - felt like my face was on fire the entire time. Made the cool pool all the more relaxing. I would go again, now that I’ve already been there before. But somehow the vibe of this onsen made my first trip here slightly intimidating and uncomfortable.

A hidden onsen tucked away in the neighborhood. The staff are very polite, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The onsen itself is excellent—especially the jet bath, which was incredibly soothing and helped relieve my muscle pain. Overall, it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

One of the most beautiful and relaxing onsen experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone working here was incredibly polite, and the whole place has a calm, high-aesthetic atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The baths were amazing — from the hot spring water to the mineral bath with its soft milky colour, followed by the cold plunge and finally the jacuzzi. Everything was perfectly clean and thoughtfully designed. The lounge wear they provided was exceptional in quality and very comfortable. A Japanese gentleman who was also visiting kindly helped us through all the steps, which made the experience even more memorable. After the baths, we went to the relaxation floor on the second level, where we rested for a while — peaceful, quiet, and beautifully arranged. We finished our visit at the restaurant, which was honestly outstanding: elegant design, quality materials, and delicious flavours. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful onsen experience in Tokyo.

I never knew there could be such a nice onsen in Tokyo, but Sakura is a very nice onsen indeed. It is English-friendly and you can pay just to use the onsen. They also rent towels. But as always, if you have tattoos, you should check with the reception if you can use the onsen. Otherwise, this is highly recommended. I felt so good after a dip in their waters

From the moment I arrived, everything was simple and welcoming — I took off my shoes and placed them in the locker, kept the key with me, and was given a handy fob to use throughout the day for everything from the baths to the restaurant and even the massage chairs. The entire onsen was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. It’s the kind of place you can easily spend the whole day without wanting to rush. I felt completely renewed by the time I left. The staff were friendly, kind, and very accommodating, even for English speakers like me. The food was delicious, and I loved that they even sell tattoo covers, which makes it inclusive for everyone. A truly serene escape — I can’t recommend it highly enough! 🌿✨
