5件Went to their annual festival- it was really good. Also, the baths were really good- indoor bath is much hotter than the outdoor one so everyone can have the bath they want. Only downside is that they still have tattoo restrictions as of this writing, which will exclude a lot of visitors and seems needlessly old fashioned for an onsen that draws so many younger customers.
Private room $30 for an hour. Good value. Clean and nice bath!

I was not a fan of onsen first but I like to go to Himehiko. If you go after midnight, students have a discount. And it's also not that crowed so you can relax easily.
