天空のアジト マルシンスパ

20年ぶりにマルシンスパへ。 秘密基地感は変わりません。 サ室には巨大なメトス社のikiサウナストーブが鎮座。 セルフロウリュ可能、サ室が狭いのでかなりアチアチです。 水風呂は地下水？薄いグリーン色で20℃弱。しっとりと冷えていきます。 整い椅子は新宿・渋谷の町並みを眺めながら整える配置。 レストラン、休憩室は昔ながらのレイアウト、サ飯は1000円以下で食べられます。 近年おしゃれサウナが増え、それはそれで楽しめますが、マルシンスパのような昭和テイスト溢れるオヤジの楽園感がやっぱり最高ですね。 お薦めのサウナです。

This place was very crowded and the temperature couldn’t be kept high. Also, the chairs in the resting space were too tiny to sit relaxed.

So basically. The spa entry is for 2200 JPY for two hours. Quite bold price considering most nice bath houses with high quality equipment and good large water cost around 400-800 JPY, I wanted to try what luxury means for once. For me, this visit was not up to my expectations. Bath: There is one tiny hot pool for max 4 people if you dont like touching each other. There is one deep cold water pool, but the water is 18 celsius, and max 5-6 people can fit at once. There are 6 chairs in the room, all aimed at the windows, which were full of droplets so you couldnt see outside anyway. There is a tiny sauna, supposedly for 10 people, which has quite good hot temperature but also uncomfortably crowded. I wanted to give 1 star, but I give 2 because of these advantages: There is possibility to sit outside in 10F and have beautiful view of city, and its also possible to see this view right from the hot bath (only from two spots though) There is no obnoxious TV with brain-damaging program playing in the sauna. This alone would be enough reason for me to visit again. Thank you for this. I dont want to visit again, only if I dont find another place with quiet sauna. Place is just too expensive for services offered.

Decent views for Tokyo from the top floor. Descent and moderately sized onsen.
