It seems like a small public bathhouse used by a mix of people — both tourists and local residents. Rather than going out of your way to visit, I think it’s a nice place to try if you happen to be nearby. The cold bath is very small — only big enough for one person at a time. Still, I was pleasantly surprised that there’s a small outdoor bathing area where you can get some fresh air. If you’re visiting as a tourist, I’d recommend carefully reading the posted guidelines before using the facilities. There are signs in several places asking guests to shower before entering the baths and to wash any sweat from the sauna before getting into the cold bath. I was honestly quite surprised to see some people entering without doing so.

Small sento, but amazing! My first time in one, and I find it easy to move around. 2 indoor baths the pink one (is super hot) and the other one with the different message and therapies. 2 outside (a cold abd a warm one) and 2 saunas. Amazing experience with a price of 550¥ per entrance, 100¥ towels, and extra 300¥ for sauna. Shampoo and other products are incredible. Staff very friendly!

Nice public bath in residential area but not so far from some highlights. Very good pricing and super clean areas. Best of all (at least for me) friendly tattoo 🥰 You can rent set of towels and they provide shampoo and soap.

Kotobuki Yu is a charming neighborhood sento that perfectly captures the warmth and nostalgia of old Japan. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by the gentle scent of hinoki wood, the soft hum of bathhouse chatter, and an atmosphere that feels both authentic and comforting. The bath area is clean and well-maintained, with a variety of tubs at different temperatures — ideal for relaxing muscles after a long day of exploring. The water feels silky and soothing, and the murals on the wall (often Mount Fuji or peaceful landscapes) add to the serene mood.

Good local public bath and sauna. Warm welcome and clean. The place is quite small it it’s everything you need and cheap .
