5件Place was good but some things were a bit underwhelming. I understand the normal clientele knows exactly what they’re doing and frequent the place often - familiar with the customs at very least or have been repeat patrons otherwise. For my experience, first time in Japan but having been to a number of hostels and capsule establishments in Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto I was bothe underwhelmed and impressed at the same time. The staff was helpful - but just enough, I felt like an idiot not knowing the key to my locker was hidden in my wristband, or where the actual sleeping capsules were (hot tip: u cant access the capsules via stairs like the rest of the hotel, u have to catch the elevator, something that was not at all obvious and also not convenient. The amenities however are top notch - it’s obvious that the idea here is that u could travel in 1 set of clothes and nothing else as everything u need is provided. Free alcohol, soft drinks, tea, etc - free skin care, hair care and hygiene products, everything from toothbrushes, hair brushes to dental floss and nail clippers, it’s disposable stuff but impressive and convenient nonetheless. The Onsen is great, and so it should be since there is no other option for bathing 😅 The lounge offers ‘free ramen’ but don’t expect restaurant level cuisine…it’s enough to get u through basically. Be careful when booking ur room - the pictures show a capsule with wood panel walls, a TV and shelving for phones, a slipper holder and secure roll down door - but if u book the ‘superior’ capsule u get none of that - instead u get an extra 30cm of height on ur ceiling. I guess that’s great if ur a Viking but I though when I booked the superior capsule I’d get the nice one that’s slightly smaller with all the nice stuff inside, not the barren one with no shelf, no tv, and fridge panel walls. But I digress, once u understand the lay of the land it’s an extremely convenient stay and location is hard to beat. Amenities are good…the free services are a little underwhelming in comparison to the spiel, but they are indeed free so can’t complain too much. All in all for me 8/10.
Very conveniently located near Shinjuku station. The capsule was comfortable, not very claustrophobic like I had expected (thankfully). The onsen facilities are nice and kept clean. The common area with all the free food, drinks, massage chair etc. is a blessing. There wasn't much of a social atmosphere, but that's something usual for Japanese hostels. Packing my luggage was a bit of a struggle in the locker room. Would appreciate if they can have a few tables so one can spread things and pack easily - specially helpful when one has to pack before a flight, haha.
I stayed here for 3 nights to get the experience of a capsule hotel, and it was great! The amenities are abundant, the location is fantastic and all of the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Its one of the a handful of places I’ve been to which only catered to men and it was quite cool. I would recommend staying here. If you aren’t running around Tokyo, this is a safe space where you can really relax. My favorite thing was, after my stay I left Tokyo for a couple of nights and Anshin Oyado offered to keep my big backpack in a secure room. When I returned to Tokyo, I picked it up and went on my way. It did cost 1300/night but was so convenient and worth mentioning. Thanks guys
This place has a website to scam people. Basically they have better prices and good long stay offers but when you try to book it, it won't work. No a red will ever be accepted. So I ended up going there as I received an email with a qr code and confirming reservation. There, I've been told it wasn't paid. I said no problem I pay now or try again. Trying again is a pure waste of time and patience, so they asked me to pay cash. I didn't have all in cash and said that I'd do a western union and get cash. I ended up going back next day, morning with another unpaid reservation and said I'll pay cash. Another staff, the "manager" said he wouldn't accept cash. Pathetic. Most of staff aren't Japanese and definitely not fluent in English and probably not in Japanese either. Tried another bookings with other cards and obviously, nothing. These people made me waste money coming, going, Western Union withdrawal for absolutely nothing. They keep saying different things. It's horrible. So, they put these "offers" on website just to attract people. It's impossible to pay for it. Obviously if you pay daily super high prices they will accept even your dirty socks as payment. Be aware.
This capsule hotel turned out to be much better than expected. Despite the compact layout, the facilities are impressively complete. There’s a free breakfast coffee area, a free lounge for resting, and even a full hot-spring/sauna floor—all included at no extra cost. The capsule space itself feels more spacious than typical capsule hotels, almost like a minimalist camping setup but cleaner, quieter, and far more comfortable. With the upgraded sound-absorbing capsules and higher ceilings, it’s surprisingly peaceful, even late at night. What really stands out is how well this place supports solo travelers: • Free coffee and soft drinks • Free lounge and rest area • Free artificial hot springs & sauna • Clean showers and amenities • Quiet capsule floors with good privacy It’s perfect for anyone traveling alone, passing through Tokyo late at night, or simply needing a quiet and efficient place to reset.
