湯の駅 ぽんぽこ

This is our favourite Onsen in the area! Comfortable changing rooms, and there’s always enough personal space in the bathing area. The sauna is perfect. It’s a bit of a drive but it’s worth it.

The Onsen was very clean, and spacious. The views were amazing, and very foreigner friendly. My tattoos were no issue. The staff called us a taxi and was very helpful. Would highly recommend even if it's your first onsen experience

My visit to the onsen was amazing! The staff were so polite and made everything easy and enjoyable. The place was spotless, and the views from the hot springs were breathtaking—mountains and sky as far as the eye could see. Soaking in the warm water was incredibly relaxing, and the food afterward was just as wonderful. Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. It was the perfect escape—calm, clean, and delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

The inside of this hot spring has been recently renovated and it’s awesome! Good restaurants with a large variety of food. There are even hammocks on the wood deck outside and a little farmers market

Fantastic onsen. The view on the mountain range right from the tub is absolutely stellar. There are two wood cabins a five minute walk away that one can reserve, making this a great place to spend the evening.
