Awful sleep! You have no control over the temperature, the duvet is way too thick for the weather and temperature they set. The sauna and baths are only for *men*, and a paid fee on top. There are “ladies sets” in the bathroom, didn’t realise cotton buds and pads weren’t available to men… It has a creepy vibe. Location is close to the station and akasaka.

We loved the location because it was quiet but also super easy to get to the tourist areas. The room was on par with Japan - very small. Pillows were horrid (for westerner) I was so glad I had my tiny travel pillow, it saved me but also - I think they have IKEA pretty close if that matters. On another sleep note - they keep the hotel hot and same with your room, we were dying despite turning it down as low as it would go. You have to pay for breakfast so we just did the 711 and family marts which were excellent and very close. I really appreciated all the hygiene products they offer (shampoo, conditioner, face lotion, body lotion and much more). The robes and slippers were also great. We only interacted with staff when checking in so I can’t say anything noteworthy. Our room was clean & the hotel was very quiet.

We spent 8 comfortable nights at Centurion Grand Hotel Akasaka, and truly enjoyed our stay. The room, though compact (as expected in Tokyo), was well planned. The bed comfortably fit two adults and a 10-year-old, and despite multiple large suitcases by the end of our trip, the space worked well. Overall, it was cozy and practical. The location is the hotel’s strongest highlight just 100 m from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, with a pharmacy next door, plenty of eateries nearby, and 7-Eleven right across the road. After staying elsewhere in Tokyo, we truly appreciated how convenient this location was. What stood out most was the staff ... warm, courteous, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient. The coin laundry on the third floor was extremely convenient for a long stay. A lovely bonus was the common area instruments... our daughter especially enjoyed the piano and guitar. Do check room sizes before booking, but for location, comfort, and exceptional hospitality, this hotel is highly recommended.

Carpeting in hotel rooms smelled bad. Rooms look a lot nicer on photos than in person. In addition there was an Indian man (front desk employee) who refused to exchange our hotel rooms when they gave us a smoking room and we told them we don’t smoke and have allergies so we can’t stay in one. He also tried to charge us extra for multiple people staying in one room due to us not being able to occupy the other room. All in all, some of the employees were extremely nice, but the Indian man was extremely rude and not helpful. Would probably not stay at this hotel ever again due to the poor customer service and smelly carpets. Ended up disputing the charge with my credit card which they decided to refund us in our favor.

Rooms were tiny. Staff treated guests as it was a five star hotel. If only the rooms were as clean and formal as the staff. Don’t stay here until it’s been renovated. The carpet is more dusty and unclean than the street. Rooms just don’t seem like they were being cleaned properly. The aircon smelled of cigarette smoke.
