The staff are very kind and helped me with any of my questions/ask during all points of the day. The facilities were also great and loved that everything you needed was right inside the hotel!

It’s an onsen hotel. There are restaurants on site. When you arrive you will pay for your stay at check-in. Then for any additional services you use, the have a system where all purchases are charged electronically. The hot spring is available 24 hours a day. There are several pools in the lady’s area. It’s nothing special, but it’s adequate enough. The location is a few kilometers away from downtown Shiojiri and Matsumoto cities.

I have been here multiple times. They say no tattoos allowed, but most places allow them anyways. Not this place. Even if you try to hide them. They will ask you to leave, no fee back. This establishment lives in the past. I don't think it deserves future customers.

Their lounge wear is retro kinda 獺祭 Classical music with white florescent lights Aside from that, their baths are really fun. You can go in there almost all day! Variety of food to eat! They have delicious fish, not pictured here, but a strange lotus flower tempura.

I stayed here overnight between Tokyo and Nagano and found that it was exactly what I needed. The staff don’t really speak English and I don’t speak Japanese but we were still able to make it work. Short walk from the train station and quite central in terms of using it as a stopover to other places. The hotel had a lot of options! Lots of vending machines and restaurants and a huge onsen area! I will stay again in the future.
